Use Stock Control

Clicking in the Use Stock Control box ensures that your stock will be controlled when you are using the system. When you are using an item then your stock for that item will be reduced by the used amount. Also your re-order levels will be calculated and shown when the amount you have set the reorder level at is reached, thus you will know when to reorder that item.
