Scanning a document |
|
|
To scan a document you have 4 choices. Click here for setting up your scanner.
Method 1:
If you select the first white icon you will be shown the menu below. You now have the choice to scan in a page and automatically insert it into your main file in any position you choose.
Method 2:
Selecting the scanner icon provides you with the TWAIN selection menu. This allows you access to any scanner connected to your system.
Method 3:
Right click on the Image Manager window to reveal the Quick Scan menu. The provides direct access to your scanner profiles.
Method 4:
An alternative method is to use the coloured Image Editor button from where you can load an image and select the scanning device.
Ultimately, all of these methods will connect to your scanner and you can then follow the scanner wizard provided with your scanner software. At the end of the scanning process, your scanned document will be presented for editing and then saved in the position you requested in the main treatment history file. |
